Additional services available for in-home care and social support

About

Some people may wish to purchase in home and social support services.  These supports may be in addition to funded packages.   BCS offers a person focused service by professional employees who are flexible in responding to individual needs. Our team provides assistance across a wide range of support options to promote independence. We also provide referrals to other organisations for long term assistance with the above services.

Eligible circumstances include:

• Residing in the ACT
• May be already accessing an aged care package but require additional services
• May have a self-managed NDIS plan
• May be any age

Supports offered include:

•  Domestic Assistance (help with housework)
• Personal care (help with showering and dressing etc)
• Social Supports (help to get out and about)
• Garden Maintenance (minor repairs)
• Social Groups to meet new people and get connected
• Medical Transport
• In home respite (giving carers a break)
