Bungee after school classes support participants to take part in activities designed to enhance well-being and social and emotional health. Bungee classes operate across the ACT in Belconnen, Kippax and Tuggeranong and are facilitated in a small, safe and supportive group setting.
Bungee offers a range of free creative after-school classes for children and young people aged 5 – 18, in three locations across Canberra, Belconnen Community Centre, BCS Kippax, and Tuggeranong Child and Family Centre.
Programs are facilitated in small, safe and supportive group settings, limited to eight participants per group. Skilled artists are employed to develop and deliver interactive, structured workshops that are tailored to the individual skill level, need and interest of the enrolled participants. The programs offer weekly sessions and run over nine weeks. Enrolments are for one term and participation is free.
The Bungee program supports young people (aged 5-18) to participate in activities designed to build resilience, enhance well-being and social and emotional health. Bungee welcomes all participants who would benefit from such programs. An intake interview with the parent/caregiver is required.
