For the past two years, Belconnen Community Service (BCS) has been on a learning journey to ensure that the organisation and the people it works with have the smoothest possible transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). BCS invites people living with disability and their families and carers to attend information sharing sessions to assist in planning their own transition to the NDIS. Many BCS participants have already transitioned to the scheme and are accessing a range of supports to suit their own individual needs. Some of them will share their stories at these information sessions. Members of the NDIS Community Team and BCS’s NDIS Liaison Officer will also speak at the sessions. Each session will include a Q&A with all speakers.
