Over the Holiday period Belconnen Community Service (BCS) will be temporarily closed from 1:00 PM Monday 24 December 2018 until 9:00 AM Wednesday 2 January 2019.
If you are seeking community connections over this time Volunteering and Contact ACT have compiled a list of available services here.
They have included lists for free meals, laundry and shower guides, short stay and low cost accommodation and complaints resolution guides.
If you require emergency assistance call Triple 0 emergency services for Australia wide access.
If you, your family or friends need crisis support or suicide prevention services Lifeline provides 24 hours support. You can reach Lifeline at 13 11 14.
The BCS School Holiday Program for young people aged 12-15 years old will begin on Tuesday 15 January 2019.
The Florey School Holiday Program for children from Kindergarten to year 6 will begin on Monday 14 January 2019.
