About the Youth School Holiday Program:

This is a voluntary program that encourages social, emotional and skill development through youth participation and engagement. Our team of experienced youth workers will supervise young people who enter the space or participate in our activities; however we are not a care service and take no responsibility for young people who choose to leave the youth centre or the company of our staff. BCS staff also reserves the right to ask participants who are not meeting behaviour expectations to leave the space. A parent or guardian will be contacted where possible.

Cost: All activities and excursions are provided FREE of charge.

Transport: We provide transport for all excursions from the Belconnen Youth Centre, either via the BCS Community Bus service or ACTION buses. If the activity is close-by, we will walk to and from as a group.

Departure times: Will be advised upon placement confirmation. It is up to participants to arrive on time for excursions or risk being excluded from the activity.

Cancellations: If you are no longer able to attend an excursion you have been accepted into, you are to notify BCS as soon as possible so that the position may be offered to someone on the wait list. Participants who do not show up to an excursion without having notified BCS in advance may lose their position on other future excursions.
