Easy P driving program

9 December 2019

Following changes to the rules for ACT learner drivers, BCS Youth Engagement will be assisting participants in the BCS Road Ready course to achieve their logbook hours through the pilot ‘Easy P’ program.

With support from the ACT Government’s Road Safety Fund, the Easy P program will link disadvantaged young learner drivers (aged 15-25 years) with a course of professional lessons from an approved provider as well as up to 10 hours per week of driving mentoring with BCS volunteer drivers.

BCS has also partnered with University of Canberra to conduct an evaluation of the program to assess its effectiveness and sustainability.
