Expressions of Interest to exhibit in Belconnen Community Gallery in 2018 open now – closing Friday January 19th
Belconnen Community Gallery is seeking Expressions of Interest for artists to exhibit their work in 2018. There are currently two exhibition slots available throughout the year which need to be filled:
Situated in the Belconnen Community Centre, Belconnen Community Gallery is an affordable alternative to commercial galleries with a focus on providing a balance between amateur and professional exhibitions by a mix of community groups and individual artists. We are now taking expressions of interest for exhibitions in 2017. Whether you wish to do a solo or group exhibition to promote your own art, or your organisation wishes to showcase the work of its participants, Belconnen Community Gallery is the perfect gallery for you.
Through our Community Art Support program, we also run a number of exhibitions series that provide a little extra support for Emerging Artists (Springboard Series), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Artists (RESPECT Series), or people with, or affected by, Mental Health difficulties or Disability who use art as therapy (Piece of Mind Series). So if you fit into any of these categories, contact the gallery for an Expression of Interest form specific to the series you’d like to be part of.
