BCS Youth Services provides support for young people aged 12 to 25 years, through recreational, educational, and health promotional activities, programs and community-based projects.

BCS Youth Services offers confidential, non-judgmental one-on-one support to young people aged 12 to 25 years. We have youth workers who can assist with a range of issues including family problems, school and peer-related issues, accommodation, Centrelink, job hunting and resume writing. We also provide emergency relief assistance like food vouchers, clothing vouchers, bus tickets and phone cards. We are also here if you just want to chat about what's going on. If we can't help you, we'll find you someone who can!

Gig Nights

U-Turn Gig Nights are held the first Friday of every month. Come along and mosh to the rhythm of our local youth bands! Our Gig Nights kick off at 6pm and wind up at 9pm.

When? 1st Friday of the month, places fill up fast so hurry and book your band a spot today!

Road Ready is a classroom program that includes a variety of interactive activities designed to help make young people aware of issues relating to safer road use before they begin to learn to drive. The course includes a range of problem solving and decision-making sessions, statistical analysis, group tasks and research assignments. U-Turn offers this program free of charge throughout the school terms on Thursday 4pm - 6pm. Places are strictly limited so reserve your place today!

Bit_bent is a same-sex attracted social support group for young people in Canberra aged 12 to 25 years. It's a great place to hang out, have fun and feel welcome in a drug and alcohol-free environment. The group is a great place to meet other young same-sex attracted people and get support and information if needed.

Youth Advisory Group

BCS Youth Service’s advisory group offers exciting opportunities for young people to be involved not only in the shaping of activities and programs within U-Turn, but the planning of events and community projects in the wider Belconnen community. The group gives young people the opportunity to voice their opinions on issues that are affecting them and their peers. We are always recruiting new members, so voice your opinion and have your say on U-Turn, youth issues, and your community!

When? 4pm – 5pm, 1st Wednesday of every month.
