Mental Health Programs
This program area provides a diverse range of activities for people experiencing mental health issues or living with a disability. Activities are organised to meet identified needs and participant interests, therefore the programs are constantly changing. Please call 62640200 or email email@example.com for more information.
Day to Day Living Program: provides a support service for people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness in Tuggeranong. A welcoming environment is provided to improve daily living skills whilst engaging in social, recreational and educational activities. People participating are encouraged to identify goals and are supported to create a recovery path.
BCS Social and Recreational Groups: are programs supporting people with a disability to reduce social isolation and participate within their community across the ACT. Most activities are term-based and include cooking, art, self-care, music, dance and fitness; the majority incur a term fee and some involve excursions. Transport and care co-ordination may be provided where needed – the programs include excursions and are constantly changing to meet client interests.
These programs and more are available as part of your NDIS package. Click here for more information.
