Social and Skills Development Programs
BCS social and skills development programs for adults living with disability offer a variety of social, recreational, art and living skills activities each week. These are group activities that are open to all adults with a mild to moderate level of physical or intellectual disabilities and run on a term by term basis.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing support for people with a disability. Through our disability programs, we can provide person centred, individualised support to those with an NDIS package.
We are very excited about the opportunities under an NDIS as it is a fantastic step towards recognising the rights of people with disability having a choice in their lifestyle and in what supports they wish to purchase.
We can assist you to achieve greater independence and increased participation in your community by tailoring supports to meet your needs.
This may include assisting you with life planning, attending appointments, accessing community events, social and recreational events, developing skills in budgeting, travel training for use of public transport or accessing personal training in our gym or art therapy in our art spaces. We are also able to coordinate other supports for you.
We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and co-design a personalised suite of services to meet your goals…your way. You can contact us on 6264 0200 or email us at email@example.com.
