Groups and Activities - Belconnen Community Centre

Groups and Activities

Belconnen Community Service activities are an affordable and accessible way for people to pursue their interests, get connected with their local community, and stay active. Programs include visual arts groups, music classes, and fitness activities. There’s something to suit everybody, from very young children through to seniors, and activities are suitable for people with all skills levels and abilities.

The Belconnen Community Centre is also used by a wide range of community groups and organisations. For a more information about what’s on at the Community Centre this quarter, please visit our events page.

Activities for Parents and Children

Tiny Tumblers is an Educational Gym Play program for children aged 2-4 years old. The class allows children to challenge themselves and explore their physical abilities in a safe environment, developing their confidence and coordination.

Mothers’ Voice is a free singing and music group for mothers accompanied by babies and pre-school aged children. Mothers’ Voice provides a safe, facilitated space for mothers to sing together and to develop musical skills and social connections. While children are welcome to participate in the singing there is no pressure for them to do so.

Superhero Dance is an dance and movement class for children aged 3-4 years old. The class is a fun way for young children to enjoy the benefits of dance. Favourite superheros and characters will be incorporated into dance movements, providing a playful way for children to experience imaginative dance. Superhero and Character costumes are optional, but very welcome.
