Belconnen Family Day Care is a community based, quality child care service offering professional and supervised care for children aged birth to 12 years. Family Day Care (FDC) Educators are employed by Belconnen Family Day Care to provide a home-based child care and education service in a safe, nurturing, small group environment where FDC Educators strive to meet each child’s needs.
Our FDC Educators work with families to support each child’s learning in the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development areas. Experiences along with daily routines are provided to assist children develop as individuals and as a group. FDC Educators and families are supported by a Coordination Unit of qualified staff to assist each child reach their potential. The key role of the coordination unit is to support and resource the highest standard of family day care for children.
Family Day Care is a flexible service, aiming to meet the needs of families. This can include the following types of care:
- Full Time
- Part Time
- Casual
- Overnight
- Extended hours
- Emergency
- Occasional
- Before and After School
- Vacation
