Leisure Program is a recreational, activity and support program for people living with a mental illness or experiencing mental health issues, co-located in the Belconnen Community Centre and the Southern Cross Basketball stadium in Tuggeranong. This is a great program for those who are feeling isolated, unfit, and unmotivated. The staff will assist you to make healthy choices, keep you informed of current groups and activities and let you know about upcoming events. The Leisure Program is also affiliated with the Open Art and Day to Day Living programs to ensure participants are able to freely move between programs. There is a wide range of activities including: Fitness Classes, Tennis, Badminton, Singing, Lunch Club, Chess and Scrabble, swimming and social groups such as the Warm Hearts for Winter group, the Belconnen Women's group, the Tuggeranong Conversation group and the philosophy@woden group.
