On Wednesday 7th March, 2012 Belconnen Community Service will launch its Reconciliation Action Plan.

The Belconnen Community Services Reconciliation Action Plan, involves three main objectives

1. To build and nourish our relationships with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, organisations and individuals to progress our RAP goals.
2. To embed an organisational culture that is welcoming and respectful of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as employees, partners and participants.
3. To enhance opportunities for meaningful engagement and exchange to the ongoing benefit and advancement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.

Dr Chris Bourke, MLA, will officially launch the Reconciliation Action Plan.

This event will be held on Wednesday 7th March 2012, at theatre@bcs

Belconnen Community Centre, Swanson Court Belconnen at 6:00pm
Light refreshments will be served after the launch.
