Some exciting changes are occurring in 2008 to Belconnen Theatre. We have already had the seating banks strengthened and a storage area built underneath, and new bright work lights installed. Thanks to DHCS for this work. We will shortly have a new lighting desk, dimmer racks, and new lighting equipment. We are also expecting to replace the worn out seating in early 2008. This is all part of the ACT Government's committment to building a new arts centre in Belconnen - part of the funding also includes some refurbishment for our current Belconnen Theatre. Thanks to artsACT for their hard work on this.

The Belconnen Theatre is an excellent venue, but we keep our hire prices low by only supplying basic equipment as specified. We do not keep extra stocks or consumables - PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN! We can help you source extra stuff but only if you have contacted us prior to the event. IT WILL BE TOO LATE ON THE DAY!
