Imperfectly Sane Too is an exciting and highly anticipated performance of real life stories from local people who are touched by mental illness, delivered through readings, dramatic monologues, scenes and songs. It follows the sell out success of Imperfectly Sane: Delusions of Splendour, in 2007. Performing at Belconnen Theatre. You can find out more at this website

Craft ACT in partnership with Belconnen Gallery is showing "Re-fab", an exhibition of rehabilitated pre-loved cloth, from 8-24 April at Belconnen Gallery. click here to find out more, and HERE to catch pictures from the opening.

Mary Porter MLA launched Scribblers latest anthology "Kaleidoscope" at Belconnen Community Centre - highly appropriate as Mary is a keen poet herself! You can see images from the launch at this link

Strathnairn Arts Association members will be exhibiting work at the Belconnen Gallery from Tuesday 4 March to Friday 21 March 2008. Works in the exhibition will represent the diversity of the membership of the Association, including ceramics, mixed media, textiles, hand-made paper, oil on canvas, collage, glass and sculpture. “Formreborn” - The rebirth of tableaux. A photography exhibition by Cole Bennetts at Belconnen Gallery. Cole Bennett’s images are beautifully refined investigations of the representation of the human form in contemporary western visual culture. Cole draws on his experience in the self-serving media industry as he contemplates the way images of the human form are constructed, tweaked and often misrepresented, in order to pedal commercial values to a mass audience. Opens 21 Feb.
