See the flyer 2-20 June Learning the Land - On the 15th and 16th of March 2008, the Learning the Land project took place at the ACT scouts camp site, Camp Cottermouth. The aim of the project was to increase awareness of local environmental issues affecting the Cotter area while also developing new ways of ‘looking’ at the local landscape. Learning to ‘look’ at the land differently was approached in two art workshops held each afternoon. The art work in this exhibition reflects the increases in both intellectual and aesthetic awareness experienced by these young people during this project.
