Bruce Children’s Centre

Bruce Children’s Centre is a Centre that is filled with laughter and a sense of enjoyment. The past 12 months have seen some very exciting developments for Bruce Children’s Centre. We have begun some much anticipated and much needed renovations to bring the look of the Centre up to the same standards of the care you receive at the Centre.

The renovations have included the knocking out of walls, repainting the whole Centre, new cupboards and benches in fresh and vibrant colours, new window coverings and will conclude with new carpets and flooring throughout. When finished the Centre will have a very exciting and uplifting look and feel to it.

Another positive to come out of the 2010/2011 was the end of year financial figures which saw Bruce record it best end of year figures for a long time. A lot of the result is down to the hard work and commitment shown by the dedicated and highly skilled staff employed at Bruce.

On the staffing side of things our team has remained unchanged for the year with the majority of the staff now having been at Bruce for more than 10 years. One staff member brought up her 24th year at Bruce. We have been fortunate enough to have had Ola from Ginninderra come and spend an extended period of time at our Centre, and I feel both Ola and Bruce have benefited from this exchange.

We are looking forward to another positive and exciting 2001/2012
